Weekly Dog Roundup: Top Articles & Videos
Updated on April 8, 2017 by Puppy Leaks
Spring is finally here, and Laika, my dog, couldn’t be more excited. I’m not sure which season she likes best, but spring is definitely a blast for her, thanks to the magical mud that pops up everywhere.
Ever wonder if dogs think deeply when they’re playing in mud? A certain photo of Laika might make you think so. She could be contemplating the sudden appearance of all this mud or dreaming about world peace. More likely, though, she’s just thinking about cheese or deer poop.
If you noticed that some of the muddy photos are a bit blurry, you’re right. Taking a clear picture while trying to stay 20 feet away from a mud-splattered dog is tricky. I’d rather my photos be a little fuzzy than get myself covered in mud. After all, I already have to bathe Laika—I don’t need to change my clothes and bathe myself twice in one day out of sheer laziness!
Moving on from the mud, this has been a fantastic week for dog-related articles. Topics ranged from the importance of enrichment to the unique ability of dogs to understand human perspectives. Here are some of my favorite articles this week. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
